Hi, I upgraded the firmware for the N800 to Diablo, after backing up to a mem card. I restored all but the Email & by default, Settings, (because Idid not want the old email and bcz it would take the mail off my server even with the box checked).

Previously I had downloaded three games from maemo.org
site. I understand the Backup command does not back up the Extras. So the new games did not appear after installing Diablo, but when I go back to the maemo site to download them again, it looks like it is getting ready to install then I get the error message: "Unable to download [game]. Application not found."

Why am I getting this error and what can I do to fix it?

I think I figured out the problem. I believe the two games I was trying to download again, were not being available on the maemo server. The car parking game and the bejeweled game are not showing their pictures on the maemo site today. I was able to download some other games okay.

ya, maemo.org is flaky. sometimes the server's down, and sometimes those green install buttons just don't work for one reason or another.

Whenever a green install button doesn't work for me, I follow the "Homepage" link (under the "Links" heading) to the project's garage page, where you can often download the deb directly with microb (bypassing the repository/catalog mess) and then use app manager to install directly from the deb.
