Hi.

I am thinking of getting the N810 Wimax version.

Where can you get Wimax reception?
I live in zip code 91011 (California)
Is it free?
Is the speed similar to 802.11g?
Is there a service coverage map or something like that?

Thanks

http://www.xohm.com/apps/coverage-tracker/

I live in zip code 20164 (Virginia), but I work in 20544 (DC).

Is it free?
No.

802.11g is about 11-54Mbps with realistic speeds around 11-20. You'll rarely see those speeds except on local machines on that network. You're limited by the DSL, Cable, or Fiber connection. Speed on WiMAX is about 2-4Mbps for the Nokia N810, and up to 10.5Mbps on laptops with WiMAX.

Is there a service coverage map or something like that?
For XOHM (now Clear), it's:

Thanks
You're welcome. Hope that helps.
