Changes I made:
  • Ripped out useless modules
  • Took out every language except English
  • Trimmed down dependencies

WARNING: This takes up a shitload of space on / and is slow! This is also not a noob friendly install.

Pre-requites: bash installed from diablo extras-devel (I don't think it needs to be your default shell) and perl from the diablo SDK repo. Root access.

Once you have them installed, get the deb files from:
http://qwerty12.maemobox.org/webmin/

and use dpkg to install them. Webmin installation takes a LONG time so wait and when you are done, it will give you the link you need to access webmin.

Username: "root" - Password: "rootme" (unless you installed openssh and changed the root password)

P.S, I removed the SSL support because it is already slow and I don't want to add another factor that increases slowness. As such, I don't recommend using this over the internet. SSL support actually works if you have the right perl libraries. I do have them and if you really really want SSL support, let me know and I'll upload them.

Slightly off topic:

I'm interested in writing Perl scripts that access the web. Is there any chance that you can package up the appropriate modules (including ssleay) or describe how to install them?
