Alright, I'm curious if there's a way to use Maemo Mapper's tracking function to determine average ground speed over a given area. I walk a fairly odd shaped course and I have checkpoints I have to complete in 20, 26, 14, 14, 14 and 6 minutes respectively (that's the amount of time allowed between checkpoints) on the course. And up until now I've been lapping myself using my watch. But if there's a way to use the tracking function to see my average speed at various points in the course, and between checkpoints, that'd be awesome.

so GPS stopwatch?

If the tracking function had timestamps embedded it would work, but that is unlikely to be the case.

This is definitely doable. But might need to be written from scratch *shrug*

Yeah, a GPS stop watch would work perfectly if doable.
