Hi all,

I have N810 internet tablet paired with my Nokia S60 Phone over Bluetooth and using Phone as cellular modem.

Are there any SW available for N810 that would allow me to "capture" S60 UI and use it on my N810 ?

I have several apps (like my push email, calendar, gallery etc..) which would be nice to use with N810 but i'm too lazy to sync/copy all files over to N810 and vice versa.

Thanks!

If you have the tablet tehthered to the phone, you can use the email program to sync with your email. (if your email supports POP or IMAP, which it should if your phone is synced with it). You can download GPE Calendar and Erminig, or MCalendar, to sync with Google Calendar. Not sure if this is what you want or what your phone uses for its calendar. Basically the files would be shared over an internet connection, not a straight connection between phone and tablet.

I suppose you could install vnc server on your phone ... then You'll have to find a way to access your phone via its IP address if it has one when tethering ...
Is it really worth your time ?

I played around a good while ago with opensync from the daily GPE package repository trying to sync GPE on the tablet with the calendar on the phone (Nokia 6120 S60 3rd edition btw) and did not have much luck. This was with the intention to sync the phone to outlook, then GPE on the tablet to the phone, as google calendar access is severely restricted at work.

I've now got a blackberry 8800 from work, so do not need this functionality to work any more, but all the packages have been updated since then.

http://www.cobb.uk.net/770/ is a good place to start, as graham has some command line scripts on there which could be used as a starting point.

Hope this helps
