When I go to newegg on my n810 from any link it takes me to the newegg mobile website. Unfortunately newegg has no link on their mobile pages to go to the full version. Is there a way to tell a site that I'm not using a mobile browser?

I noticed that too. Interesting that sites are starting to see our browser as a mobile one -- that means they recognize our platform...but it's actually pretty irritating since our browser does just fine with desktop pages.

Well, you can change the useragent of the browser to that of a desktop browser.

There are a number of threads on the topic; try a search and/or have a look at these:

These are mainly focused on changing to and from the iPhone user agent, but you could use about:config to get the string from your desktop's version of Firefox and use that, for instance.

The bottommost link, "Classic Site", works for me.

Excellent phutterman,

I browsed to "about:config" and changed my setting of "general.useragent.vendor" from:
Code:
Firefox/3.0a1 Tablet browser 0.3.7 RX-34+RX-44+RX-48_DIABLO_5.2008.43-7
to just a simple:
Code:
Firefox/3.0a1
And now Newegg.com is displaying as it should be.
