Hey guys,

I finally was able to pickup a N810 in my price range, and was wondering what to expect regarding Video streams tethered via Wifi or Bluetooth.
At this time, does the N810 perform well in this arena? what to expect regarding battery life? Can bluetooth handle most video streams(youtube and the like)? or will i have to use wifi?

Thanks!

YouTube videos are delivered via progressive download, so your bandwidth simply determines how long you wait, not whether you can see it at all. Moving beyond that bit of pedantism, a Bluetooth connection should be fine. In most cases, it's the Internet connection of the Bluetooth device to which your tablet tethers that determines load times, not the Bluetooth connection between the devices.

YouTube video playback can be disappointing* within the web browser. There are a small assortment of programs available for the tablets though that download and play YouTube videos outside the browser. These are said to improve playback significantly.

MyTube is the best one to download to view YouTube videos.

I use the Video Center application and kmplayer applications. In video center change from the internal player to the external player and use the kmplayer as the external player. For Youtube use my tube. You will find all of these work well of a high speed wifi connection.

Without a (mobile) connection fast enough, MyTube will not download or play anything. It just allows you to browse the pages.
