So I'm using my ISP's VOIP service with the tablet's native "internet call" app, and all is well.

Except... if I miss a call, the LED flashes and I can't find anywhere to turn it off!

I had to shut the tablet down, which is a bit drastic.

I know I can disable the feature, but that's not what I want to do. I would like to know if I missed a call, but once it has told me how do I shut it up?

Of course it isn't that useful if I don't know who the call was from, and so far I can't work out how to discover that.

FOund it.

Down the very bottom right of the home screen a red curved arrow appears on the double box that is the "these apps are running" icon.

Click on that and you get the usual app list plus another box that tells you that you have missed a call. Hit that box and it says who from and if you want to call them back.

Be nice if this was documented somewhere, eh?

It is documented in the Help application on your tablet in the "Task Navigator" subsection under "Nokia N810 Internet Tablet".

When you say you are using your isp's VOIP service with your tablet, do you mean like the digital phone service from say comcast or something? Please elaborate on that.
