I am in need of someone who has physical access to a n900 to try a simple test and tell me what happens. This is "blocking" me from continuing so the sooner I can get a answer the quicker I can add this to the newsgroup / bug report.

You will need extra-devel as a enabled repository on your n900.

Go to a xterm terminal, you might need root (not sure) I don't have a n900

Code:
apt-get install clucene-core
It should either install or fail with an error message about /opt

The do a
Code:
apt-get install clucene-core-dev
(Do not combine these steps, they need to be separate)

It should either install or fail with an error message about /opt

I basically need to verify that two optified packages can install properly on a n900.

Then you can do a
Code:
apt-get remove clucene-core-dev clucene-core
to de-install it and free up the space you took.

I want to make sure that both of them will install properly into /opt on a n900. The autobuilder is having some issues, and I can install the packages fine in my sdk/scratchbox.

So the final test is to verify the real machine likes them also so we can narrow down the issue to just the autobuilder.

Nathan.

both installed fine on the n900 (separately as requested) with no messages or errors.
