Hey guys,

Loving the wireless on my home network as well as the local library, but cannot connect to the wireless at uni. My uni (Monash University, Australia) uses something called Monash-Connect for students and Eduroam for staff and people travelling between different campuses.

Now the uni has a webpage on how to configure Monash connect for Linux OS but was wondering if this applicable for Maemo on N810.

I have no idea about linux or its commands but was wondering is it possible to get wireless connectivity on my n810 at uni?

https://secure.monash.edu/its/wirele...nst-linux.html
(please ignore the details in regards to Eduroam)!

I'd start out with a similar approach to this

You probably need to trust the certificate your university provides on the same page for WLAN. Eduroam is supposed to be also for students, btw, so you might have luck connecting on it.

Cheers for the reply!

Ok, gave that a shot just then. Followed the instructions. I searched for wireless connections and Eduroam came up (full strength signal) but it had that padlock symbol. When I tried to connect to it, it would take a fair while and then i would get an error along the lines of Authentication Failure.

Occasionally there would be 2 eduroam connections, one with a padlock and one with an unlocked padlock...when I try to connect to that one I get a network error.

Any ideas?
