i hv installed the maemo sdk on my debian machine and it came with 2 targets(DIABLO-ARMEL,DIABLO-X86) in X86 iam not getting the hildon environment where iwas getting it in ARMEL ...while running in X86 it is gvn me error lk.........

in the release notes ( http://repository.maemo.org/stable/4...otes_4.1.2.txt ) there is the hint, that due to qemu-related problems it is not recommended to run applications in the armel target. You should that only use for the cross compiling and building packages. there is a bug filed as well where you can find more information about that ( https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2171#c2 ).

So please use the X86 for that. But you said you had problems with it as well?

yah fine but iam not getting the application selector in X86 where iam getting in ARMEL
target and i ican visualize the applications and it if i click it it is asking for me to install r not dialog box but iam uanble to get the installed applications and as;o iam not getting the hildon gui....
