I'm in Italy too at the moment, and wi-fi hotspots aren't exactly common. The situation has improved only slightly over the last couple of years.

I'm planning on bringing my N800 (and praying for WiFi while I'm there!) so was hoping I could find some sort of translator program that might work on the N800.
Any ideas?
