I installed the driver so I could use my Think Outside kbd and I've noticed that it's made a big difference to the battery life. Does Bluetooth stay on even though the keyboard is not switched on and connected?
I cant see anything in the control panel that even mentions Bluetooth so how do you control when it's on and when it's off?

I think the Bluetooth status bar applet goes blue when BT is on and grey when it's off. Selecting "disconnect device" makes it go grey on my 770.

Oh, I get it! I never noticed that before.
Have you had any major reduction in battery life though when using BT?

Not really. Then again, I never timed my battery, I just recharge it when I think about it.
