Is there an application for my N800 that will read .pdb files directly? For now I must use Palm OS emulation with isilo.

The standard palm doc files can be read with fbreader.

pdb files are containers (palm databse). The format depends on the specific application the file is made by. FBReader reads pdb files that contain ztxt encoded content or palmdoc encoded content, but nor iSilo formats.

If they are ereader books, then ereader2html will convert to an html format the fbreader can display. This works pretty well.

I have also been looking for that file (ereader2html) to download without limited success. Followed a link to rapidshare site and got a zipped file that when unzipped yielded four files - one of which was labeled like this: Python Script for eReader2html.py 080312.txt. I think I understand how to enter a python script, but I do not know what to do with this .txt file.

The text file is your python script. Go here: http://www.developer.com/lang/other/...626311#Preface
and learn about how to use python.
Cheers. BTW it works beautifully.
