We used to have this search link, but it now searches only old posts, those from before Internet Tablet Talk became talk.maemo.org.

This new search link searches the whole maemo.org website, including posts on talk.maemo.org and on Internet Tablet Talk, Downloads, the Wiki, etc.

(At this point it's a page to which Google gives me control, but if anyone wants to improve it, or if Reggie wants to take it over, just let me know.)

Bump. (I just thought it was worth bringing to attention. I won't bump again. But if anyone else thinks it's worth it, bump occasionally, until we have a Google search built into maemo.org.)

I have it in my sig now, too.

Excellent! We should push for a search like this to be the replacement maemo.org search.

Is there any way to fix the title of the search? Right now, it shows on my browser as " - Google Search", which seems like it is missing the name on the left of the "-"...

UPDATE: Ha! It searches the repositories, too!

UPDATE2: Hmm, actually, I wish it wouldn't search the repositories. Well, at least not so soon. It can search them last, after searching talk.maemo.org, wiki.maemo.org, the mailing lists, maemo.org/downloads, bugs.maemo.org, garage.maemo.org, and maemo.org/news...

Repeating myself every few months :-)
There already exists my TabletSearch CSE, including it's own Desktop Search plugin.

And at the same time this is a great way to add revenue to the OP's adsense account? AFAIK this custom search generates money through adsense?

Thanks GeraldKo. It's missing the categories though. Check how it worked before in itT: http://www.internettablettalk.com/search/

Wen I get the time, I'll make one without the ads.
