hello,
yesterday I tried to install Android on my nokia n810 using this intructions: http://www.talkandroid.com/65-google...id-nokia-n810/ or http://www.pocketables.net/2008/07/android-install.html
Unfortunately there isn't this thread anymore: http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...d.php?p=198240

During the installation my tablet said : "Impossible installing android-installer".
Any solutions?
Thank you very much
Luke

Ok. Installed! There was only a little problem with the image file (a download problem). It's really good! Will be there a version of android installer with the new android sdk? (actually it isn't possible to install new apps, isn't it?)?
Thanks

You should be able to create an SD card image and boot Android using modified boot options to use that image for additional storage. If that works you can download Linda File Manager and use that as a way to install apk files from the SD image.

Probably I didn't exmplain well what I was thinking...
Actually, installing Android on n810 by Android Installer you'll have an old Android Version... It isn't Android version 1.0 or v1.5...
My question was: When will be a new version of android installer for n810 to install the last versione of android? (an example in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_Hby...eature=related)
Actually Android-installer is the only way to have a "multi-boot" android-maemo, isn't it?
Thanks

DO NOT INSTALL THE VERSION LISTED IN THIS THREAD!!!

It is junk. It's an old version that doesn't do anything.

If you REALLY want it, here's the thread.

http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=25736

Warning, it doesn't run alongside maemo, and ur gonna need to flash to get back to normal.

Also, in its current state, even the newest droid IS NOT ready for daily use.
