these look interesting.

Wonder if I could hook one up to an n800?

Chances are, not yet, as you need to install the driver & it does not look like it's Linux friendly.. yet

But it might be a nifty way to make the n900 have a bigger, yet not full size screen..

Note that while the screens are larger in physical dimensions, they are the same resolution, so the benefits probably don't outweigh the cost, especially given the work of writing drivers. That said, I've seen a few other USB monitor options out there lately, and it would be interesting to see what people can make of them.

Looks like the only part that is not (yet ?) supported on linux is the touchscreen ...

These guys a re really something... you have to pay extra for Mac *drivers*

They are not using the usb tech that was folded into xorg recently?

Why not get the SmartQ7 which does most of what the 740 model does and a lot more?

The Mimo 710 has specifications almost identical to the Samsung Sync U70, readily available on eBay, often for less money. The U70, at least, is a DisplayLink device, so it can be used with Linux, even non-x86 Linux. I'd be quite surprised if the Mimo 710 doesn't also use DisplayLink, but you pays your money and takes your chances.
