On GNU/Linux, there are a lot of high quality Free (FOSS) games:
- Frozen Bubble.
- The batle for Wesnoth.
- Neverball.
- Etc...
We could organize to make a Fremantle version for all these games.
This would involve:
- Adapting the interface (menus, text, etc ...) for use it with fingers. (The largest works.)
- Compressing music to save space and read them by gStreamer.
- Optimize the code if possible and use the 3D accelerator if necessary.
- Optimize the size required for installation.
- Create a theme for Maemo Fremantel.
The ideal would be to have a max of good Free games to output the N900.
Unfortunately, even if I have programming knowledge, I lack the experience (Especially in community development) to participate.
And my english is so bad.
Are there people motivated?
