I have compiled a tide predictor program developed by:
http://www.flaterco.com/xtide/
I have only compiled the terminal version, tide.

I haven't had a chance to figure out how to create a deb package, but if you want the binaries just let me know, and I'll put them somewhere with simple install instructions.

I am interested in your tide (text-based) port of xtide. There is a graphic version gtktide, but I need more specific data which is found with the text version.

Thanks.

The databases for gtktide were missing a lot of international tidal stations. Xtide typically has a lot more stations and a graphic version would be fantastic. What tide database are you using in your build?

I'm running the Palm OS emulator (Garnet VM) and inside it I've installed Tide Tool 2.2 (http://www.toolworks.com/bilofsky/tidetool/) which uses the Xtide 2.6 database with 7000 locations.
