Someone call 9-1-1!

Nokia has re-invented the invention!

Nokia 911 or what was that number 1-800, no, no, no, ahhh, easy 5230... com'on it's that easy and you can't remember it: try this 5=2+3+0.
Hey, this phone is for engineers, math grads or finace grads that eat numbers on bread every day. Other people stay away

Nokia today announced the Nokia 5230, a music and Ovi service-centric device for €149.
3.2" touch-screen, 2MP camera, 3.5mm audio jack, A-GPS.

The best invention or call it innovation: 3.5 mm audio jack. Now we are talking about something

What?

I am so confused...

If it had WiFi (is there 3G?), it would be decent. Better than the overpriced N97 and N97 mini.

It has 3G.
It also has GPS which makes it a bargain at 149 €.
Yes, no wi-fi... so not really for me. And symbian... better be Maemo.

I kind of liked the previous incarnation - the 5530 - smaller and more compact in size. Only if S60 touch wasn't so bad (from what I read in reviews - haven't really used it).

I was just thinking the same thing.

I think the phone isn't that bad at all considering the prize. Good phone for non-tech-heads and other more average consumers. What else you can get for 149 without contract?
