Hello all,
I recently bought an N800 after many years of using a Palm. I love my new N800, but there are some lingering frustrations. The biggest (for now) is how long it takes to get back into the device when it is locked (password locked, not just the screen locked). I like to keep it locked so it will be useless and inaccessible if someone else gets their hands on it. However, it takes seemingly too much time and effort to get back into it.

Does anyone have any good solutions for this? On my Palm, I had a program called PictureLogin which, when the device was locked, would present you with a photo of your choice and you had to tap the correct place on the screen to unlock it. If you tapped the wrong place, it would give the manual password entry prompt. Does anything like that exist for Maemo? What about any combination/sequence of hardware buttons presses to unlock it? Alternatively, is there at least any way to make the unlock code number pad bigger? Half the problem is that the buttons are so small that I often tap one incorrectly and waste twice the time.

Thanks in advance!

Josh
