Is someone facing the same problem as me?

My "contacts" application just fails to start. Error message 'internal error. application ''contact'' closed'. This happened suddenly. I can still stay online using this application but cannot IM my friends as i cannot access the ''contacts'' option. But when some IM's me i can chat. Strange!

Thanks in advance.

Please provide way more info, e.g. at least your hardware and the exact Diablo software version.

If you start an X Terminal and type osso-addressbook and press return, do you get any error messages appearing in the terminal itself?

If you're after a quick fix rather than lots of troubleshooting, there's a fair chance that shutting down the tablet then switching it on again might fix it.

Hi pelago,

I tried what you suggested, it says 'segmentation fault'.

That doesn't sound good. What happens if you restart your device and then try?

Flash to Diablo maybe.

(Unless there's a benefit to running Chinook that I don't know about)

Is there a way to format n810?
Would that help?
Any source explaining the formatting process?
