I was very interested in seeing this demo of the mintpad using the the stylus.

I for one am a little bit sad that the whole world seems to have gone finger mad. As far as I can see finger UI is a SUBSET of a stylus UI. Maemo does both, but for some reason people seem to have forgotten about how far we have come in 2 thousand years from in the scratching's in the sand to a pen ,paper,tablet and computer.

Don't get me wrong, finger navigation is good when you want to eat your lunch and play with your phone, but don't lets forget the innovation that is still possible with applications like Numpty Physics, and Xournal and hand writing calculator.

I just hope all those kids brought up on Nintendo DS with their stylus show us grown ups the way to go.

but i get you... well, i will you the stylus on the N900 for shure, but probably just for stuff where my fingers are short...like sketching, pressing tiny buttons, etc... other then that i don't really see a need, coz the screen works with fingers and nails well

I never went to the n810 from my n800 cause I did not see the need for a keyboard, I can go fast with my stylus, and can use my fingers when I need to to. Kinda like moving between my mouse and my keyboard.........finger pointer , pointer finger, feels very natural to me.
