Hi Guys,
I am really sorry if this topic has been covered before, but i looked at quite a few threads and i didn't find any that really address my concerns. I have had my n900 about a month now, and i really have 1 issue, i have a limited data plan (60mb/month) which i mainly use for emails, ovi contacts and the occasional web browsing. I have been having a problem where i have been experiencing high data consumption (5-8mb) each time i connect to my service provider. i have the data plan monitor app. this i why i can tell how much data is used. I would like to know if there is a way to monitor what apps are using the the data when i'm connected or apps connect automatically to the internet for updates or something like that that may be responsible for such large data usage. I dont have facebook widget or any of those automatic update apps.

Thanks,
carlon

If you connect infrequently and don't use WiFi, it's probably the application manager doing an update. Look here:

By default, n900 checks for updates every 24 hrs (1440 mins). You can increase this value to a number like 2,147,483,647 if you want to disable auto update check.

Has anyone successfully changed the check_interval, and had the daily updates completely stop?
