Where will be able to download applications for the N900?
Are there any good sites?

There will be 3rd party apps from the community and also from Nokia partners.

For community software, you can see a preview of what is coming in the extras-testing QA queue:

When an app/update gets karma >10 then it's considered stable and good for end users.
