You could try to set the DirectoryCache setting in the opera.ini file (http://www.opera.com/support/usingop...ini/#userprefs) and see if it works.
Or you could try to replace the Opera cache dir by a symlink to a MMC dir... (just a suggestion, I didn't try)...

i tried to use cache directory4 but it only saves shockwave files into that dir.
there doesnt seem to be any cache in use under .opera

Cell-Connection is slow sometimes and having a disk cache might help a little.
