Well.. people are just plain stupid. Just look at the polls of the swedish election coming up. How in the hell can the conservative alliance get those results? Their politics are just good for the wealthiest 10%. Still you have people voting for them. People who don't gain anything from their policies. The national party who mostly contain of former villains (it's like voting for hells angels) get's votes..

In Latin it's "cupio dissolvi". In my opinion it happens when people or societies have too much and don't need to struggle for life any more (or have way too money to buy electronic gadgets). It's like it's been said of lemmings.

but there are so many guys who think they post in a maemo community:

What the hell is wrong with you people? Active topics, as of writing, are:
1. bad news from nokia today -- started by some schmuck who doesn't have caps;
2. The end of the Nokia Smart phone dream -- some idiocy I couln't care to read;
3. Anssi Vanjoki resigns -- no doubt an avalanche of negativism about the management changes at Nokia.
So what is the purpose of this site -- to be an arena for nihilistic trolls, or to exchange useful thoughts? When are people going to see the bigger picture? Commenters at Engadget today have a more positive view of the situation. The doom-sayers here prevail as always.
