For those of you attending and want to meet up before or after the event post in here.

Also post any suggestions for venues.
I can make a Coke last all night so I'm not worried about how posh the venue is.

My name is Andy and I'm coming down from Milton Keynes, I'm not too familiar with the west end so somebody else will have to pick a venue, not to fussed with Wi-Fi service since I've got a neo1973 from the openmoko project (boy, did I back the wrong horse).

Well if you are heading for Oxford Circus and want something expensive there is All-Bar-One (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&...-8&sa=N&tab=wl) but that is a walk back past the tube station for the nokia shop (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&...-8&sa=N&tab=wl)

For a cheaper pint there is the Glassblower back off the main road but closer to Picadilly (cornor of glasshouse and warwick)

There is a pub just behind Libertys on Carnaby street which is quite nice. Can for the life of me remember the name of it.

There are loads there - was it one with a downstairs cocktail area can you remember? Quite clean lines regarding decor?

There is an O'Neils too if you want branded.

Google Maps shows a few if anyone wants something checked (not every bar ok!) I'll try to look at them in the next week or so during lunch (assuming it isn't hissing down again).

Just got this e-mail:

Welcome to the N900 meet-up !

The London meet-up is held in the St. Martins Lane Hotel ( www.stmartinslane.com ) Tuesday the 17th of November.

The doors open at 7.30pm and the 'official' part starts at 8pm. For the following couple of hours you will be able to meet likeminded people, as well as Maemo folks from Nokia and the community.

We will provide some nibble food and N900 demos, so you can get a feel for the device in case you have not had the chance yet or just have fun with it. The event then ends at 10pm after which we can continue the chats elsewhere. We will also have a surprise lottery at the end of the event.

As the space is limited, we have a name list at the door so we ask you to bring a piece of identification with you.

We are very excited about the N900, and we hope you are as well!

Best Regards,
The Nseries team
