Hi All,

I've been trying to create a Guinness themed loopable wallpaper for my N900 (when it finally arrives!).

Here is what I have so far, as you will see I am no photoshopper, I know it's not great, but it's a start.

I'd appreciate any thought's feed back please.

Not sure I like the sparkly line, just added it to add to the "loopable" effect.

Pints 2-4 have different PS effects added to them.

I wish I was good at photoshop - some of the things I see people create are amazing (and that's just simple stuff that they could do in a morning). I've tried following many tutorials over the years, but never really got the hang of it. Without someone/something telling me what/how to do something I'm a bit stuck lol. So any feedback/constructive critisism would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Dexter

go ahead and post that to www.n900wallpapers.com if you haven't allready.

photoshopping is an art that needs a lot of practice and testing. or very good tutorials. that is why i just stay and finetune RAW-files and let others do the shoppin

Thanks for the reply, I am going to post it to N900wallpapers, but just wanted to see what people thought first.

just go ahead. there is a rating system and all.

i think sparky line is good: helps when you don't know which desktop is it you are on...

I think you should drop the line doesn't really fit to me. You can tell which desktop your on by the look of your beer.

You could try to post the 'source code', i.e. the psd file somewhere; in a community like this it's always possible that someone with photoshop skills could help out.

That's a could idea, thanks.

Any suggestion where I could host a PSD file easily and freely?

Or by the widgets and icons on the desktop (surely the desktop won't remain blank?).
