You must have enabled the Extras Devel repository, to which I uploaded an experimental TMW 0.0.29.1 package. I know that there is no application icon showing up yet. I will try to fix that this weekend, along with some other issues.

You'd have to use the X terminal to launch it for now ('tmw'), however there is no proper way to close it (easiest is Ctrl+Backspace for task switcher and then pressing the X).

i just installed tmw (0.0.29.1-3) and i've got two questions:
i've got that maemo satus bar (has the time and the clse button) so i can't see the whole screen! is that normal / is there something i can do to get rid of it?
and the game appears to have installed a bunch of files, where have the files been placed?
thanks

The software is only the client and doesn't come with the game data. This is downloaded dynamically and placed in ~/.tmw/updates/ (likely /home/user/.tmw/updates). This is part of the 2 GB partition, but maybe we should consider changing this to use /home/user/MyDocs?

You can fix the screen size problem by editing /home/user/.tmw/config.xml and adding a "screenheight" setting set to 480. You will also want to put the value of "screen" to 1, which makes it run in full screen.

Again: this game in intentionally only available from Extras Devel so far. I am aware of the issues and will fix them in subsequent releases (but for example, I need to figure out how to apply patches to the source as part of the package build process, since this is all new to me). If anybody is interested in helping to improve this package, that'd be awesome. What would be the most common place to share the build scripts?

I made an updated release which fixes some issues, though some critical ones still remain. I've posted about this here:

Please reply there with new comments, this thread can be closed since it's duplicate.

This is great, but I'm having problems creating a new character, does anyone else have this issue?
