I downloaded the usa east navicore map to my pc..unzipped it (winzip) and copied it to my internal memory . When i open the map app nothing shows up in "maps in device". What am i missing here? Also in file mgr>internal mem>mapdata the size of the file doesn't show up on the right hand side. Something wrong there? Also the uzipped files in the pc folder has a bunch of quicktime movie files in there. Is that normal?

yes...still trying to determine if winzip is the right program to unzip these files to n800.

winzip should work. Are you sure you copied the file correctly (in a mapdata_xxxx directory under map)?
The files with the qt extension are ok.

Sweet Pete! We got maps! After 5 downloads and deletes it finally worked. Not sure if i did anything different than the other times. Thanks for everyone's help. Now if i could only get VNC to work.
