greetings!

i have the n900 with scandinavian layout.

that means that i dont have up/down-keys. to press up/down i have to keep the blue-key-thing pressed, and press right/left.

thats ok for the most part, as i remap keys anyway in games.

BUT:

in some games, like ur-quam-masters (and also supertux to some degree) im not able to select remapping, as the game dont read my up/down presses at all, and therefore its impossible to select the remap-options. it just doesnt get that im pressing up and down, as its assuming that i got dedicated updownkeys, or so it seems.

so, is bluekey+left not the same asciicode as up? is there a solution? anyone else has this problem?

thank you very much, i hate such a stupid problem to ruin an otherwise excellent device!

thanks, ole petter.

Why thanks, thats exactly the problem I'm adressing.

Hope someone figures out some smart solution. Smarter than changing stuff in settings everytime one wants to play a game.

Is there some way of making a script of some sort or a shortcut for changing the keyboard-layout, perhaps?

That would pretty much solve the whole ting.

I'm having the same problem - hopefully it will be fixed now that it has been filed as a bug. It will probably cause more problems down the road than just uqm.
