Recently I downloaded a few of the free books available from the Google Book search in PDF format and had been reading them on my computer. Then one day i looked over and saw my n810 and slapped myself for not thinking of using it to read my e-books on the go before!

So i loaded a few on my sd card and popped it in. The pdf viewer that came with my 810 saw them and did load it initially...but then immediately quit. There was no error of any kind and it does it regardless of whether the pdf file is on my sd card or on the system memory. The free books from google are in non-drm protected pdf format and read flawlessly on my proper Adobe software at work and my pdf viewer for Kubuntu at home.

Any ideas on how i can get these books to be viewable on my 810? Has anyone had a similar problem?

I've read a lot of PDFs on my N800 using Evince - it should be available in your application manager.

There are three or four pdf readers for the 810; try several before you wave a white flag.
