Hi,
Does anybody experience delays of about 20 to 30 seconds for e-mail inbox (IMAP) to update after deleting a message? Sometimes, it takes this long to get into inbox on launch of Nokia Messaging.

I have the same problem.
I even cleaned out my IMAP mailboxes, and that doesn't help either.
Why is it so slow ???

is there an official bug report on this issue? If not one has to be submitted immediately.

It's curious that the Inbox disappears while it is updating. That is, open up an account and Inbox is not listed and only shows up after a while. Bizarre

The email client is indeed hardly usable with IMAP at the moment. Even when a folder only contain a handful of emails, any operation, such as opening a folder, can take ages. The aledged cause of the problem is described in the bug report and has apparently already been fixed. Fix should be in the next firmware update.

Interestingly, if you disconnect the network connection on your phone, you'll notice that the email client becomes suddently really snappy and reactive and doesn't suffer from these lags anymore.

if it was only 20-30 seconds, i could live with that! but mine never completes and then just eats up that battery.

its been said taht the next firmware they are working on addresses this issue.
