1) Claim on the insurance for a new one and buy a screen protector this time
or
2) buy replacement parts on line and swap it out (yourself for extra points)

Me I have put a screen protector www.clearvision.com very impress with it. I other phone that I had I use many that didn't last long few days or weeks but this one you always keep it there very solid even if it is soft. I never use my N900 without it on the 1st day I got it I have put that on the 1 minute I use it. This screen protector before to use the unit you have to wait 24 hours (that was very hard to do when I got my N900 another wait....) but I think with that I will never have scratch so if you replace your screen make sure you have one of these.
