hi all,

my media player cannot "see" my mp3 files, and the only way i can get them to play is by launching the mp3 in filemanager. i have tried all the tracker-processes -r commands and its variant, but no luck. in examining the log, i have found that i a missing the following files:

/root/.cache/tracker/file-index.db
/root/.cache/tracker/email-index.db

when it tries to clear the tracker, can someone help me in locating those 2 files? thanks in advance

Download Tracker cfg and check if your mp3 files are in WatchDirectory

Type in XTerminal the following:
Code:
tracker-processes --hard-reset
/etc/osso-af-init/tracker.sh start
it will reset the tracker for you and hopefully all will be well.
