I've tried a few times to download the above progams from the app manager, but when i click "details" it has "not installable" under the problems section?

When I click on facebook when was already added out of the box, it comes up after a while that package was lost or something along those lines.

Is this a problem relating to my other problem on the other thread "can't get my repositories to work"?

Or something different?

P.s also tried the amazon widget and the APnews one and comes up after a while of downloading "Application package not found"!

Combined with your previous issues, it sounds like you've got some serious issues with repositories/networking. Do you have any issues at all browsing web sites on the N900? And have you reflashed the firmware at all?

No problems web browsing at all mate.

I posted a reply in my repos' thread so hopefully tomorrow will get my issues sorted. If not, then I'll have to reflash(which I've no idea how to do)!
