Which PS Suite to use with N900?
I downloaded 7.1.40.1 and found that Backup, Video transfer apps do not support N900.

The Nokia support site give incomplete information (as it lists N900 as supported device for the PS Suite.

Is there some other version or some other software that I can use to backup the phone contents and do other stuff?

there's a thread for this somewhere.. Uninstall this version and by faking you need pcsuite for your E61i, get the older version 1.39. It works good IMO.

The backup app won't work using any current PC Suite version. I suspect the same is true of the Video transfer app. Large chunks of PC Suite are still Symbian-specific - I'm not sure anything other than syncing works properly.

I've just downloaded Nokia PC Suite, and started installing it but it seemed to stay on 48% (was there for about 10 mins at least!). I've cancelled it for now and shall try it on a Virtual Machine (I only want to test for USB tethering to internet usage).

Anyone else had this problem or was I just impatient?

OK, syncing Outlook 2007 in calendar and contacts works fine with vs. 1.39.
