I've installed X11VNC on my N900.

The objective is to VNC into the N900 to operate the N900's word processor (AbiWord).

Using viewers such as tightVNC on an Ubuntu machine and UltraVNC on a Windows XP machine, it is successful except for a major flaw:

The <enter> key on the viewer machine does not insert an <enter> in a document being edited. The <enter> key on the viewer machine seems to have no effect at all.

It is interesting that the <enter> key on the numberpad on the keyboards of the viewer machines *does* produce a CR/LF in the edited document.

Does anyone have a suggestion for getting the <enter> key from the viewer machine to insert an <enter> in a document edited on the N900 via X11VNC ?

That worked, but it's a little awkward.

It would be difficult to leave the N900 in your pocket for instance while working on docs via VNC.
