The objective is to VNC into the N900 to operate the N900's word processor (AbiWord).
Using viewers such as tightVNC on an Ubuntu machine and UltraVNC on a Windows XP machine, it is successful except for a major flaw:
The <enter> key on the viewer machine does not insert an <enter> in a document being edited. The <enter> key on the viewer machine seems to have no effect at all.
It is interesting that the <enter> key on the numberpad on the keyboards of the viewer machines *does* produce a CR/LF in the edited document.
Does anyone have a suggestion for getting the <enter> key from the viewer machine to insert an <enter> in a document edited on the N900 via X11VNC ?
