I Love the browser in N900 but there is one thing I like to change.
When clicking the arrow on the screen next to addressbar the browser history is shown. Same thing is accomplished by swiping finger from right outside and left into the screen.
To go to previous page one have to open the keyboard an hit backspace.
I'd like to configure touch arrow next to addressbar to do the same thing.

I agree...the arrow should go back a page instead of showing the history. Seems kinda redundant to have both swipe left and arrow as history. Maybe someone should require an enhancement in bugzilla.

I was actually thinking of logging a bug/FR on this one, I'd like to have the option to use the history page or not.

perhaps have the history come up on a long press of the back arrow, and a short press would just go back to the previous page without many animations etc?

Maybe you should try to search harder with bugzilla

Only thing you can do is vote.

With enough votes, maybe we can see this in a future update. If you don't have an account, make one and vote. Every vote counts.

I prefer the second option(replacing the arrow with a 'one-page-back').
