i use a product called communikate which is an all-in-one VOIP service.

with my windows pc, i have a tool bar plug-in that allows me to see if i have any messages/faxes/email/etc. and if i scroll over the icon in the bar, then it will popup a shadow box that shows where the messages are from.

i was wondering, if there is a plug-in for IE, how dificult it would be to have a desktop widget made to work similar to the current email widget, or the ovi by nokia widget that could connect and either list, with option (if like the email widget) voicemail/faxes, or is like the OVI by nokia widget, at least a number next to an icon, and if i tap it, to either call it, or go to the webpage with an auto-login.

it is at katewwdb-dot-com and if i need to email somone a plug-in to see what it is i can do so.

edit: oh, and if it makes a difference so that it can be used on future meego devices and symbian devices to be built in QT that would just....UBER Awesome!

thank you.
