Some of my contacts have had their numbers disassociated from their conversations threads in the conversations app.
Now I just see the number and no picture or name when I open up the thread.
If I go in the contacts app I see all that contact's details but not in the conversations app.

I have already tried rebooting/ removing battery/ reflashing firmware and emmc.
Anyone have any ideas?

Update: The numbers appear to have mysteriously been deleted from their contact cards in the contacts app too.

Anyone know about this issue?

are you speaking for all of us? if we had to say no everytime we didnt have an answer, the forums would be flooded with posts, so its better to just avoid that =)

Are ur contacts saved to your SIM card? try copying them to your phone and see what happens

I dont have any problems with mine either, but sometimes when i first boot up my n900 the conversations dont have the names, im assuming its because the names arent loaded from the SIM card yet, because all my contacts are on my SIM. So maybe you have a problem with you sim card...?

My contacts are on my device not sim card. I had to delete all contacts from the contacts app then re-import the backup contacts folder I had created on my sd card.

Problem with this solution is it disassociates all the IM contacts. When you try delete all contacts it tells you you cannot delete IM contacts. So now I have 189 IM contacts as seperate entries from my 700 backed up contacts.
