Hi there!

I'm about to get my N900, and I'm thinking of doing / requesting a mod for dialing your contacts. I don't know how it works in other countries, but in Brazil, if you would like to call a person from another state / code area, you most use a "code" of the long distance operator of your choice prior to the area code of the number you're calling.

For example, if you're calling a phone number that is of the area code 82 and you are out of this area, you should dial:

0 + 31 + 82 + (the phone number)

In this case, 31 is one of the many operators code we have here.

Nowadays, I just put the whole number (including the operator code) to my contacts. But the problem is, depending on the SIM card you are using and the number you're calling, it's better to use one or another operator code. What I would like to do is record on the contact just the code area and the phone number, and when I'm about to call it, I'd like to have an option to call using Operator A, B or C (just A or B would do) or none.

Do you think it is possible to do this mod? How difficult would it be?

Please, if you haven't understood, let me know, I'll try to explain it in a different way.

Sorry for being repetitive, but isn't there anyone who has any idea how I would do this?
