Hello,

I have installed Nokia PC Suite 7.1.40.1 and Backup app does not see connected n900. I have the message "No phones are connected. Connect your phone now".
But phone is connected and I can synch or browse n900.
Does anyone have such problem?

It doesn't work yet. Maybe it will work with a new firmware.

So for starters nobody bothered to read the bit in PC Suite that said it didn't support all phones? Also there is a backup utility already on the phone, backup to a card and you have a removal copy too. You can always use a variety of other methods as you have a computer in your hands too!

Open the application Manager, select the update and let it go: what's so hard about that?

It'll backup whatever it's told to backup. Look at the files in /etc/osso-backup/ to learn how to customise it to backup whatever you wish.
