I'm having trouble installing 'Extra Protocol plugins for Conversations and Contacts' due to two missing dependancies - 'libtelepathy-glib0 (>= 0.7.37)' and 'libtelepathy-glib0 (>= 0.8.1)'
How do I go about updating thse dependancies?
Without this I am unable to install any other protocols or updates..

I'm also unable remove Pidgin Extra Protocols as Pidgin Sametime support (2.6.3-nix1) is dependant on this remaining installed, but I have no option to remove this.

So far I have avoided the PR1.1 update..
I am trying to learn how to do this through the console so any help would be greatly appreciated!

why are you avoiding PR1.1?!?

it could be that there is no way out besides installing PR1.1....

I don't think this is a pre-Pr1.1 related issue. I uninstalled some plugins that i know are working, but can't reinstall because the libtelepathy dependancy is broken. Tried 'apt-get upgrade libtelepathy-glib0' but this made no difference..

Anyone got an insight into this one?
