I have been looking for blob wars: metal blob solid for the n900. I saw that it was ported to older maemo version. Have I missed it or was it just not ported?

Also, what about the 3d version of blob wars? Should that be able to run on the n900? (not sure about the gles...)
That would be awesome

Thanks!

OK, So the compilation was pretty straight foreward. It depends on SDL-ttf and SDL-net (I believe I got both from extras, but not sure how to see it in apt).
There was a tiny fix required but other then that it seems fine.
The problem is that I do not have an n900 so I can't test it (and my xypher is on the fritz), so I would appreciate if someone could test it for me.

I haven't bothered to make a deb yet or create the appropriate .desktop file so this will have to do, extract into /opt and run /opt/blobwars/usr/games/blobwars.

I got back:
Code:
...
 *** 1.2.7-2 0
        500 http://repository.maemo.org fremantle/free Packages
        500 http://repository.maemo.org fremantle/free Packages
        500 http://repository.maemo.org fremantle/free Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
...
Which means what?

With apt-cache showpkg I was able to see that it was listed in extras, extras testing, and extras devel so I assumed that I got it from extras (and the others were before it was 'promoted') but I dont see how i see it from policy?

My mistake... You're right...

You can also use the Package Search here.

libsdl-ttf

libsdl-net
