It'd also be kinda cool if the powered-on status led (slowly blinking ~white color) would blink (perhaps at a little higher rate) with green/yellowish/red color depending on battery state.
Hmm, maybe a fun mod project...

Your N900 doesn't blink red when battery is low?
It does blink when it's actually empty, I admit, like <5% but it does nonetheless, it's red, accompanied by the ding sound that I hate so much.
Hm. I distinctly remember my N900 blinking red.

Anyone else experience this on your N900?
It only notify you when your battery low with "Boing" sound but no LED light notification?
Or how can i make it show the LED show when low battery reach?

The old Nokia battery dying notification sound will be greatly appreciated.

I purposely waited until my battery was 1% to see what would happen. What I got was no sound notification, but a flashing white light. Was expecting red with beeps.... only thing that turned red was the battery symbol.

Mine just got to 1% and did't do anything. No lights, no beeps, no red battery symbol...
Am I missing any configuration?
I'm in the last firmware... 3-2010 and haven't mod anything (biggest noob here)

What we need is for this to trigger a warning LED when the battery level reaches a critical state, say 15% or so.
