Someone HAS to make a .pdb interpreter for the oxford dictionaries on the N900

I made a huge leap of faith with this device and my profession really requires those .pdbs working on my N900. I simply can not use it as my main smartphone without them!

Any help is very much apreciated!

Do you know of any existing free implementations in Debian or anywhere? I did a quick search but just turned up python/perl/php debuggers etc.

Pdb as in the PalmOS files? If so, you could try installing GarnetVM. See http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=31828.

I don't think it's the same thing with PalmOS files but there is a palm version however.
It's the file format MsDict reads... very handy app...

Don't know if there is any

And the .pdb files themselves we're IMEI locked on symbian...

your best bet is to try isilo for palm with garnet vm.
Garnet vm is reported to work on the N900(even if not officially supported).

Help pushing through a journalism internship I dislike? For three weeks I have had a journalism internship. I recently received my English degree, but I don't want to be a teacher...or I didn't. Now being a professor or translator looks great.
