after updating to 1.2 whenever i open skype or msn or anythin i click on new IM and it says no contacts , why??

Same problem here. It is possible to IM and check statuses through phonebook, but it isn't practical like "New IM" option.

Somehow you can't send IM when the person is offline. Now i dont know if this a bug or has something to do with Skype settings. Because i have only one person in my contact list that i can send IM when he's offline the rest is just a Skype call only option. If anybody could confirm that if they used to able to send IM when somebody offline before PR 1.2 update would be helpful.

its a bug in the maemo operation system!
