I recently got my N900 and am having fun hacking it
But looks like I messed up something, cuz all incoming connections (ICMP/TCP) are blocked. Outgoing connections from the device are working fine.
If someone can help me out, here are the details:
I have lighttpd & sshd installed. Recently they stopped working from my PC via wifi. But, they are still working with remote port forwards to a linux server. (ssh -R 2222:localhost:22 user@remotehost).
Also, all incoming connections are working fine when connected to office VPN (using vpnc).
It seems like some sort of firewall issue (although could not find iptables in maemo ).
Everything was working fine until recently and I dont recall installing anything that could have messed up networking.
Any help troubleshooting this would be highly appreciated,
EDIT: Turns out it was an issue with my wifi router . Rebooting it solved the issue .
Lesson learned: Dont always blame the N900
(PS: Sorry for the SPAM.)
Thanks
